Glenhuntly railway station is located on the Frankston line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Glen Huntly opening on 19 December 1881 as Glen Huntly Road, being renamed Glen Huntly on 1 September 1882 and Glenhuntly on 20 April 1937.〔(Glenhuntly ) Vicsig〕 Glenhuntly station is located next to a "tram square", one of only four crossings in Melbourne at which tram and train tracks intersect along with their electrified overhead wires. A small signal box is situated at the Flinders Street end of the tram square which controls the tramway crossing. In the 1980s as part of works to add a third track on the Frankston line, the western platform was converted to an island platform and a new building opened on 1 July 1987. In the morning peak hour, Frankston bound services utilise Platform 3 with Flinders Street bound trains utilising Platforms 1 and 2. At other times Frankston bound trains call at Platform 2. ==Platforms & services== Glenhuntly has three platforms. It is serviced by Metro Trains' Frankston line services.〔(Frankston Line timetable ) Public Transport Victoria〕 Platform 1: *Frankston line: all stations and limited stops services to Flinders Street Platform 2: *Frankston line: morning peak all stations and limited stops services to Flinders Street *Frankston line: all stations and limited stops services to Frankston Platform 3: *Frankston line: morning peak all stations and limited stops services to Frankston 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Glenhuntly railway station」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
